Shooting Sees 'Projectile' Lodged Inside Book At Hanover Home

A shooting over the weekend ended with bullets being fired into a resident's home.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Police are calling on the public's help for information regarding a shooting that took place in Hanover over the weekend.

Anne Arundel County Police said in a release that a shooting reported Saturday, shortly after 6 p.m., involved a gunshot fired into a home on the 7800 block of Arbor Grove Drive.

At the scene, officers found an individual who said they had traced gunfire damage inside their home. The person said they located a hole in their ceiling and what the department is referring to as a "projectile" lodged inside a book in the home.

No injuries were reported in connection to the shooting.

Although investigators canvassed the neighborhood, officials did not encounter any suspects or witnesses to the incident.
