The new camera will be stationed near the Annapolis Area Christian Upper and Middle School, off Burns Crossing Road.

Although it will become active on Aug. 18, it will not issue citations until after a 15-day warning period.

Per school zone standards, the new camera will only run between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The latest comes after authorities announced the county would be changing speed cameras to operate on a 24-hour, seven-day schedule.
