The lounges are being constructed in partnership with the Chase Bank.

Each lounge, according to the airline, will be fitted with "locally-inspired dining, high-quality amenities, and valuable travel benefits that are offered today in the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge Network."

The new project comes months after the airport completed hundreds of millions of dollars in renovations, including the construction of new gates and a link between concourses A and B.

In addition to BWI Marshall Airport, the lounges will be built at the following three airports:

Plans are in place to open seven lounges over the course of the next several years.
