On Saturday October 3, from 9am to 2pm, the Odenton Heritage Society (OHS) will open its doors for the town's annual celebration of Odenton Day—a joint effort by the Odenton Heritage Society, Odenton Volunteer Fire Company (OVFC), Greater Odenton Improvement Association, and Central Maryland Chamber.
We'll have a variety of activities and fun for the whole family at both the Odenton Heritage Society Historical Center and the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, including free guided shuttle bus tours!
Beginning at 10:00 AM, OHS will offer free, round-trip guided tours by shuttle bus starting from the Odenton Volunteer Fire Company Firehouse at 1425 Annapolis Road to the OHS Historical Center at 1367 Odenton Road. The tour will travel through Odenton's Historic District and feature three sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
At the OHS Historical Center, you can take a visual ride on the WB&A Electric Railroad, try your hand at hula hooping, explore the history of Odenton with a scavenger hunt and take a guided tour of our museum with our friendly, costumed docents.
The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company will have tours of the firehouse, view community exhibits and safety demonstrations, and have fun with interactive activities as well as this year the OVFC will also be hosting their Odenton Fall Harvest Festival, with kids' carnival rides and fall festival food for sale!

Please note: Because Odenton Day will be held on Saturday, October 3, we will not host our regular monthly open house on October 4.
