For Hautmann and Quijote, the selection marks the fourth time the two woodwind players have earned all-county concert band honors.  Quijote had also earned a selection to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra “Side-by-Side” program earlier this year.

Rafsky’s second selection to the ensemble is also a special one in that he was named as the baritone horn section leader for the 2012-2013 band.  Ogunbajo, McHarg, Banos and Howard also earned their second selection into the all-county concert ensemble this year.

Schulz earned her first selection as an all-county instrumentalist, but has also earned all-county and all-state music honors as a vocalist.  For Beaudry, the first-time selection to the all-county concert band adds to her selection as a trombonist for the 2012-2013 all-county orchestra.  Spencer and Musliner are also a first-time selectees.

The 2012-2013 AACPS “All-County” High School Concert Band, as well as the 2012-2013 AACPS “All-County” Middle School Concert Band will perform on Saturday, February 2 at North County High School.  Performances begin at 7 p.m. and admission is $5 at the door.
