Anne Arundel Crossing Guards unjustly removed from their jobs on the last day of school

Anne Arundel County Crossing Guards have been requesting a meeting with Management and asked for all guards to be invited since back in January. When no responses were received from the Supervisors, two guards gathered guards together and collected signatures showing support for this request. On the last day of school, these two guards were fired from there job with no explanation given. One guard has been with Anne Arundel County for over 18 years and the other has a total of over 12 years between Anne Arundel and PG County as a guard. They were speaking up on behalf of all guards who are concerned with the Safety of the children as well as themselves in the roadways. This is very unfair and we need to have these guards jobs reinstated and new Management put in to place that has the best interest of the children as the NUMBER 1 priority.
