Clarence Green went to court yesterday in Salisbury for several charges on one of his patients. He plead guilty to the charges and they suspended his license to practice. Although he is legally never allowed to practice in the state of Maryland again, he can go to another state and practice. He sexually assaulted this client, he plead guilty for this, and he doesn't spend anytime in jail. http://www.wmdt.com/story/23772266/salisbury-therapist-forfeits-license-pleads-guilty-to-abuse
Why is this? You may ask. The answer is simple, it is because as of yet Maryland doesn't have this as a crime. Therapists can and will get away with it again and again, until we all step up to fight for it.

For this reason we need to all step in and help pass this law. This is crucial to the victims of therapy abuse. We need to make the state, courts, and boards bring justice to these victims. The only way we are going to do that is to get therapy abuse a crime in Maryland. Don't let this slide by another year without passing.
