Armed Robber Holds Up CVS Pharmacy: Police

A man armed with a handgun robbed the CVS pharmacy in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road in Severn, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

The robbery was reported just before 4 a.m. Thursday.

Authorities say the suspect entered the business carrying a handgun, and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect ultimately fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Numerous officers with the assistance of a K-9 unit searched the area for the suspect, but did not find him.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 5’5”, 140 pounds and wearing all dark clothing.
