Arundel High School Marching Band Competes at MetLife Stadium
Takes 4th place in Group II Open in national marching competition.

The Arundel High School Marching Band travelled to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on Saturday November 15 to participate in the U.S. Bands National Championships. Arundel took 4th place in Group II Open, competing against many top bands from across the United States.

The national competition marked the band’s last competition of the year and culminated with a season-high score of 93.963. The band’s show is entitled “The Heist” and the drill movements were designed by Arundel Music Director Ian Burns.
Mr. Burns had this to say about his band’s accomplishments: “I am so proud of the tremendous success of the Arundel Wildcat Marching Band Students. By far, this is one of the most passionate and talented groups of students I have worked with and their fantastic results are because of their hard work, dedication and passion for excellence!”

The marching band will perform this Friday night at Carroll Field at Arundel High School where the Arundel Wildcat football team will host Old Mill in a playoff game.
