Arundel Musicians to All-County Band

Eleven musicians from Arundel High School earned positions in the 2014-2015 Anne Arundel County Public School All-County high school concert band, following auditions held Jan. 7 at Northeast High School.

The eleven musicians are:

Seniors:

Charles Galarza, baritone sax

Brian Howard, trombone

Juniors:

Gabriel Bobowski, alto sax

Brian Musliner, clarinet

Riccardo Jefferson, clarinet

Madeline Beaudry, trombone,

Gregory Spencer, trumpet

Sophomores:

Susannah Greenslit, French Horn

Kennan Spencer, percussion

Freshmen:

Kendra Dolinka, tenor sax

Brendan Gillespy, trombone.

For Beaudry, Musliner and Gregory Spencer, the selection marks the third time each has earned a spot in the All-County concert band; and the second time for Jefferson and Kennan Spencer.

First chair honors in their respective sections go to Charles Galarza, Kennan Spencer and Madeline Beaudry.

The musicians will rehearse with other All-County selectees throughout January. The All-County concert will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 7:00 pm at Northeast High School and will be open to the public.
