Baltimore Coffee & Tea Company Coming to Odenton Station

Coffee and tea shop hopes to open by mid-May.

Baltimore Coffee & Tea Company has signed a lease and will be opening soon at The Village at Odenton Station, reports the Capital Gazette. The company, which has been in the family business of tea and coffee since 1895 has three other stores (Frederick, Timonium and Annapolis) and a roasting plant in Maryland. 

President Stanley Constantine told the Gazette he felt Odenton was "underserved," and because he anticipates strong business from Odenton Station, a stop on the Penn Line of MARC

Baltimore Coffee & Tea is a certified organic roaster according to the USDA and the state of Maryland, and has also been certified by the Smithsonian Institution, to roast and distribute Bird Friendly Coffee.

According to the Gazette, the store serves 1,000 varieties of tea and more than 120 types of coffee. 

Construction on the space began Tuesday, April 22, and Constantine told the Gazette he is hoping for a mid-May grand opening.
