Baltimore Men Targeted, Attacked Severn Business Owners: Police
A man and two teen from Baltimore followed business owners to their Severn home, where they were attacked and robbed, police say.
SEVERN, MD — A Baltimore man and two teenagers are reportedly behind a string of robberies in the region, including one in Severn, where business owners were followed to their homes at night and robbed at gunpoint. Anne Arundel County Police say the most recent victims were held up and assaulted twice at their home in the last three months.
All three have been charged with armed robbery, and both teens are charged as adults. The most recent robbery was reported shortly before 10 p.m. on Nov. 25 in the 7800 block of Coldbrooke Drive in Severn. The victims told officers that when they arrived home, they were approached by three suspects, one of whom pointed a handgun at them. The robbers physically assaulted both victims, demanded their property, and fled with their belongings and cash.
Police say the victims did not require medical attention for their injuries.

A similar robbery was reported at the same residence on Sept. 5, say investigators, who believe the victims were targeted and followed home after closing their business in the city of Baltimore. The suspects reportedly used a victim's credit card to make purchases at a Walmart in Baltimore County, which resulted in surveillance images that helped police identify the robbers. Investigators linked the same suspects to similar robberies reported in Baltimore County after business owners left other businesses in the city and traveled home, where they were robbed.
