Best Beer Joints In Odenton According to Yelp

In honor of National Beer Day, here are some of the top bars and taverns for beer in Odenton, according to Yelp.

ODENTON, MD — Whether you're in search of a place that had not only good beer, but a welcoming atmosphere on a dreary winter night or a sunny summer day, the Odenton area has some spots that come awfully close.

Whether you like ale, lager, a porter, or some other type of beer, we can all agree atmosphere, vibe and other intangibles contribute to the values of a nice beer spot. With that in mind, the region has had a beer renaissance as of late, with several establishments touting their food as well as the mix of domestic beers and imports.

In honor of National Beer Day, here are some area joints where you can indulge in some good beer and cheer, courtesy of Yelp users:

The Hideaway: 1439 Odenton Road, Odenton. Yelp says, "Great bbq place. Probably one of the best restauants in Odenton. Plus they have 2 bars and outdoor seating. The Hideaway seems like it used to be your classic dive bar; however, time has turned it into a slightly trendier version of its past self."

Buck Murphy’s Bar: 395 Telegraph Road, Odenton. Review, "Who can resist a sign that says "Cold Beer, Good Chili?"

The Place: 8318 Telegraph Road, Odenton. Comments: "A 'Bar', and a Chinese Restaurant called "Hunan- Odenton'. Upon entering "The Place - Package Goods" you'll note it's not big, you feel like you've stepped back in time."

Friendly Bar: 1256 Annapolis Road, Odenton. Review said, "Nice people working there, LOADS of options, good deals for the area! There is a dive bar and a liquor store connected to eachother. The bar is a dive, but the drinks are STRONG."

Nani’s Bar: 7940 Telegraph Road, Severn. Yelp says, "A dive bar so divey that even hipsters are afraid to enter. It's dark, dank, and smells funny. Since Nani's is also a "packaged goods" store, I stopped in to buy some cold beer."
