BGE Crews Back in Odenton Thursday

Several homes remain without power.

Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. officials said they have scheduled crews to work in Odenton Thursday, in an effort to restore power to a small number of homes.

Odenton is included on a list of 19 locations in Anne Arundel County where BGE scheduled crews to work.

Residents reported that power was still out on some streets in Maple Ridge and other areas facing downed wires and other localized problems.

BGE officials said crews also will be working in Hanover, to the west of BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.

As of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, there were 6,573 BGE customers without electricity in Anne Arundel County. The company has restored power to more than 129,000 customers since a powerful derecho storm blew through the area Friday night.
