This is the first time Blob's Park is hosting Kegs and Corks, but the park has a history with beer. In 1947, the park's Bavarian Beer Garden hosted the first-ever Oktoberfest celebration in America.
The said this week that it plans to attend the festival as a fellowship event.
A portion of the proceeds of the event will go to buy an automated external defibrillator device for Anne Arundel County athletic fields.
