Bowie Man Charged in Crofton Pizza Shop Robbery
Anne Arundel County Police say the suspect used an air gun to hold up the Little Caesar's pizzeria in Crofton.

A Bowie man has been charged with robbing the Little Caesar’s pizzeria, 2046 Davidsonville Road in Crofton, on Tuesday night.
Police say two employees were working in the pizza shop when a man walked into the business and acted like he was going to pay for an item. Instead, he took out a handgun and announced a robbery. The clerk turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect, who fled in an unknown direction on foot.

Officers soon found a possible suspect walking near the business. The clerks identified the man as the robber and an Airsoft handgun was found in the area.
Suspect Demetrius Alexander Spencer-Coates, 24, of 3641 Elder Oaks Blvd. in Bowie was arrested. Police say some of the money taken in the robbery was found with Spencer-Coates.

No one was injured in the incident.
Spencer-Coates was charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft.
