Divisional Championship Meet this Weekend - GO PIRANHAS!

The Piranhas suffered a tough loss on Sunday, but we're ready for a great meet this weekend!!

The Piney Orchard Piranhas lost their meet on Sunday to the Baltimore Jewish Community Center. The score was 268-195.  The Maple Lawn Sharks swam an exhibition so they did not score during the meet.

The meet started at noon and we had two thunder delays at about 2 p.m. which made us all a little uneasy because we could not postpone the meet, it was swim or cancel.

The Piranhas did a great job and swam their hardest against two tough teams.

The Straehle Individual Championship Meet at the Four Seasons Complex in Hampstead, MD was held yesterday.  The Central Maryland Swim League is the sponsor of the meet and it is enormous. There were 49 teams, 1316 entries, 1116 swimmers, 192 relay teams, 100+ volunteers, 10 officials and 13 PIRANHAS in attendance (the most we have ever had). We are VERY proud of everyone!

This weekend is our final meet of the season. We will be hosting our Division Championship at the Island Pool Saturday morning starting at 9a.m.
