Fresh Veggies and Sunday Brunch

Local Fruit and Vegetables - There is a new small stand off Piney Orchard Parkway/Patuxent (back way through Piney Orchard to Rt 3) - Open on weekends..  Great prices and he sells it right off of the land he grew it on.  I love supporting our local farmers.  The corn and canteloupe is delicious.. The only watermelons he had were with seeds, but still sweet.  Not commercialized and reminds me of back home.

Local Sunday Brunch! 

Irish Channel, Crofton - Cost is around $13 - Omelette/Waffle bar is the best item on this buffet.. Everything else is just ok.  From what I have found, it is one of the cheaper brunches in the area, but I felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant besides the people at the bar.

The brunch at the Big Fish Grille in Crofton is $25.  No omelette bar, only a waffle bar that the wait staff has to make for you.  If you want an omelette, the wait staff will give you a piece of paper to check one of the 8 items you want in your omelette, then they turn into the kitchen.. they just may want to teach their "chef" how to make an omelette as all of ours were delivered brown and overcooked..  - not worth this hefty price!  big Fish should stick to what they are known for which is 1/2 price appetizers and the happy hour crowd..Don't get mad at me, it's true...  

J. King's, Gambrills - $22 that includes bottomless Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's - Oysters, Omelette, Egg station and more.. Everything is good, great surroundings, excellent wait staff... I would recommend!
