Hangouts, Salons, Wine Stores and Donuts

CROFTON CANTINA- 787 State Route 3N, Gambrills, MD - How many times have you driven by and said hmmm but never stopped.  Well, I got bold and have visited this establishment a few times now. I have found this to be a place where some of the most friendliest people hang out.  You can play pool, sing karaoke or it is a Raven's Roost, so the games will be on.  They have fresh homemade burgers that are delicious and the price tag is cheap! This is a place where you don't judge the book by it's cover..

JOHN JAMES SALON - 1286 Rt 3 South, Crofton - Moving here 7 years ago, I found the 2 most difficult things to find is a doctor and someone to do your hair.  I got sucked into the Robert Andrews web for a few years then started feeling the lack of time and care being given to my hair.  I learned of John James and have been very happy with my highlights and the cut.  The pricetag is FAR LESS than Robert Andrews, the conversation is entertaining and this is a place where the attitudes are left at the door because they are there to offer complete customer service! 

THE WINE BOX - 1670 Annapolis Rd., Odenton, MD - I do not consider myself to be a wine enthusiast.. which is why I liked this place.  I was asked what I may be looking for and given suggestions.  The store is very nice, clean and not packed in like some of the other stores in the area.  It is good to see another liquor store that is in the same class as Hops n' Vines (Piney Orchard). My only concern was the parking. You can park on the side, where patrons are hanging out from the bar located next door or in the front of the building which is off of 175. 

DUNKIN DONUTS/BASKIN ROBBINS - Piney Orchard Shopping Center - After not going to this location for over a year because of the lack of customer service and the lack of product, I am proud to report they now have vanilla and chocolate ice cream!  I am also proud to report they did not have a manager leaning his chair back with his feet propped up. They may now be able to consider themselves "31 flavors" again.. BUT will they conquer pouring a cup of coffee in less than 15 minutes....   Stay tuned....
