Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving!

Happy & Healthy Holiday Wishes

I have been MIA recently, and for that I apologize.

It seems to be that once football season ended (GORC 12U ended their season with a very respectable 8-2 record), the holiday season began!

So, as is often the case, "life" has just gotten crazy.

This very thing is often the excuse we hear for lack of exercise or bad diet choices during this time of year. Too busy, too many obligations, no time for "me"...
I know it's easier said than done, but it CAN be done.

Make sure to take a few moments for YOU while you are out "house hopping" on Thanksgiving (you know ... going from in-laws, to in-laws, sisters, and friends, etc...) and shopping on Black Friday.

Five minutes to sit, sip on some green tea (so many health benefits, AND quite tasty too :) and breath deeply will do you more good than you know.

All that mall walking is good for keeping you active, but don't over do it.

My message here isn't so much about physical well-being as it is about mental well-being.

The holiday season can be overwhelming and crazy for everyone. It might not be easy to do, but you need to at least TRY and put focus on yourself and keeping YOU safe, healthy and happy.

Whatever you do, wherever you go, make sure that you have a wonderful, healthy and Happy Thanksgiving.
