Hiring a real estate agent and what to expect.

These are the Seven Roles your agent will play:

1- Analyze your Wants and Needs: Your agent must listen and then clearly communicatesall information you need in away that makes sense to you. Your agent helps you analyze what exactly you need and want including things you may never have considered. 

2- Educates you along the way about your market: Your agent must have heart of a teacher not a salesman. Your agent must educate you about your local real estate market and makes sure you understand everything you need and want to know about home-buying process.

3- Guides you to options that fit your needs and criteria: Your agent will guide you to home-to-home search for property that matches your criteria.

4- Coordinates the work of other needed professionals: Look for an agent who can expertly coordinate all the professionals involved in your home purchase (Loan officer, Inspector, etc.), and offer you the best one.

5- Negotiates on your behalf: How to offer and what kind of strategy for negotiating your contract is when your agent must showes you why you should be happy with your decision. The moment you make an offer on a home, your agent’s role as negotiator kicks in and doesn’t stop until you’ve taken ownership.

6- Checks paperwork and deadlines: The home buying process has a lot of paperwork, that's one of the main reasons you hired your agent, isn't it? The home buying process has a lot of paperwork.

7- Solves any problem during home buying process: Almost without fail, there will be problems during home buying process. Your agent will prevent them when they can be anticipated and solve them when they’re unforeseen.
