Lego Classes...Who Knew?

While my son still has almost a month until his summer vacation starts, my daughter has been out of school for almost five weeks. Luckily, the time has flown by as we’ve kept busy with play dates and other fun activities for her.  A friend of mine recently discovered that the Lego Store at Arundel Mills offers classes. Even better, they offer private classes if you have at least four kids sign up.  And the best part, it’s super-affordable! 

The classes run for an hour, so you can drop off the kids and get some shopping done or grab a Starbucks while they’re having fun creating. The cost is only $15 per child, and in addition to the class each child gets to pick either the small Lego container to fill up from the bulk section, or they can design and assemble three Lego Minifigures. We did our first class last week, and we have already booked two future classes. The teacher was excellent, and all of the kids are still talking about the class a week later.  My daughter tells everyone she sees that she went to Lego School with her friends.  It's a must for any little Lego fanatics!
