My very first official post ... well, on this blog.

My name is Peg Waters and I’ve lived in Piney Orchard since 1999, and have been active on many different levels in the community from the Piney Orchard Elementary School PTA to the POCA Board of Directors. I am still involved with different POCA Committees and the Piney Orchard Swim Team.  

I thought it would be fun to become a blogger for the Odenton Patch to bring my own experiences, observations and opinions about different events or meetings from around the community. Not to mention, the unexpected exciting twists and turns that take place–oh wait, that only happens on the MARC train in the afternoon when you’re trying to come home from a long day at work and it's 85+ degrees out. 

I promise to keep religion and politics out of it–those animated loud conversations are meant for Thanksgiving dinner ONLY after I’ve had a glass of wine or two and would ask that you do the same.
