Piranhas have a home meet this weekend and a chance to move up a Division!
This Sunday, July 24 the Piney Orchard Piranhas will host their first home meet of the season against the Baltimore Jewish Community Center Barracudas and the Maple Lawn Sharks. The swim meet will start at noon at the Island Pool.
The Piranhas and the Barracudas are tied for first place in the Division and this meet will decide the winner! (No pressure Piranhas!!). The winner of the division will move up a division next year and get a reall COOL plaque from the league that you can display in your pool house.
This past weekend, the Piranhas had a great meet at Maple Lawn and we had a few more swimmers qualify for Straehle on July 27. They are Reigha Barone and Jack Lenox. The Piranhas were swimming an exhibition this past weekend but if we were keeping points the end of the meet would have looked like this:

Waugh Chapel SeaDogs will be visiting the Nottingham Marlins this Saturday in Mt. Airy!
Congratulations to all of the swimmers that have worked hard all season to qualify for Straehle.
