Coal Fire - 1402 S Main Chapel Way - This is a nice, quaint restaurant. I was expecting it to be a little more fancy. 12" pizza $10.95 and 16" pizza $13.95 - Then comes the toppings. ranging from $1.50-$2.00 each. You have 3 choices of sauce for your pizza.. We tried spicy - with jalapenos, black olives and mushrooms.. I would not suggest the spicy sauce.. just a little sweet/spicy for my taste. I had the rib eye sandwich which was $10.95, it was wonderful (especially if you ask for the horseradish sauce).. For $10.95 I would have expected fries or something with my sandwich? It was just a sandwich on a saucer that came out 15 minutes before pizza. I ordered fries which was another $3.95.. The small plates (I call saucers you put coffee on) reminded me of the "plasticware" that you see in a buffet; Not sure what they are made of but definitely not breakable...which took away from the decor. Would I go back? I would perhaps go to their bar area for a glass of wine..maybeeee order again.... Just bring your calculator so you can tally up all the add on's and bring your wallet!
Blue Dolphin - 1166 Route 3 #201, Gambrills - We walked in and walked right back out.. We were hoping 3rd time would be a charm.. same experience all 3 times.
Big Fish 1260 Crain Highway, Crofton - Always a nice happy hour! 1/2 price appetizers which includes sushi, lobster tail, crab cakes, etc and great drink prices! Available in bar area and in seating area. Chris and Paula are wonderul bartenders and one thing I can say about this place, they retain their staff! Most servers have been there for years.

Each State has a society you can join. This is an association for displaced Texans which has "mixers/happy hours" with other states. They also have Governmental meetings you can attend. My favorite is the yearly picnic that takes place on Father's Day. They have BBQ, beer, burgers, peach cobbler, blue bell ice cream, horseshoe and softball tournaments and much more! It was a wonderful way for me to meet people! I would highly suggest!
