Bullets Pepper SUV in Severn: Police
Several shots struck a silver SUV in Severn Wednesday afternoon; the driver went to a police station hours later to report the attack.

SEVERN, MD — The driver of a vehicle peppered with bullets in a Severn shooting reported the incident several hours after police received reports of gunfire.
About 5:30 pm. Wednesday, Anne Arundel County Police officers were called to Pioneer Drive and Severn Orchards Circle for reports of shots fired. Initial reports were that a dark-colored vehicle was seen fleeing the area after several shots were fired from the vehicle.
Witnesses also told police they saw a silver SUV leave the area with several bullet holes down the driver’s side. Officers searched the area, but were unable to find any victims or additional witnesses.

Several hours later, the driver of the silver SUV came to the Western District Station to report the shooting. The victim was uninjured and provided a statement to detectives.
Authorities have not said if a suspect has been identified, what might have caused the shooting or identified the driver who was shot at.
