Here are a few suggestions on things to do this week in the area, including one that won't require you to leave your house.

Arundel Basketball at Annapolis – The boys are still in the hunt for a county title after earning a earlier this week. The girls are also battling for potential playoff seeding. Girls tip off in Annapolis at 5 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
Crafternoon at the – For a low-key but creative time with the kids, swing by the library to make some crafts to bring home. The session runs from 2-4 p.m. By the way, did you see that the county library system is now on Facebook? Woo hoo!
80’s Prom Night at – Do you yearn for the days of Flock of Seagulls and Debbie Gibson? Recapture your youth with some harmless fun, complete with an 80’s DJ specialist.

2011 Motor Trend Baltimore International Auto Show – Head up to Charm City to see the latest cars, including some pre-production models and a Honda Indy Racing League vehicle. The show at the Baltimore Convention Center runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Adult tickets are $10, while seniors get in for $6 and kids are $4. Children under 12 get in free with an adult on Sunday.
Dress in Orange and Tell Winter to Shove It – Our beloved Orioles get started on the 2011 season, as pitchers and catchers report to Spring Training. If you’re not lucky enough to be in Sarasota, FLA, at least take the day to wipe off the sting of the Ravens’ season and embrace the coming spring, even if it is 24 degrees outside.
