Changes need to be made

After a lot of thinking on this subject and comments to me, I changed the name of this group to professional abuse as it is more then just therapist that abuse their clients/patients. 

I am still learning a lot on this subject and will continue to learn so I can inform you the readers/public of this silent epidemic.  If you would like to share your thoughts please do as we all have an opinion and we all learn from each other.

There are so many professionals that take advantage of their clients/patients every day but many victims don't report it or know where to report it.  Although, it is a hard thing to do please check with the laws of your state before taking it to the boards. 

Most boards won't report it to the police so your best bet is to go to the police right away and report it.  Scream it from the roof tops if you can and try to protect others that might be going through or have gone through the same as you.

If you know someone that has gone through this then help them to get the help they need and make sure they do go to the police. 

Help to get the message out there to everyone and let's stop this epidemic.
