County Shuts Down Emergency Shelter

Public Works Crews continue work to open roads, many residents still without power.

The county is closing the Annapolis High School shelter at 6 p.m., as most county residents who took refuge there during Hurricane Irene are back in their homes, according to a county news release.

Residents who still need shelter or assistance should go to district police stations, which are equipped with cots and water.
