County to Review Two Projects on Waugh Chapel
The county has distributed notices to residents about two new residential projects along Waugh Chapel Road, including plans for 224 residential lots.

Anne Arundel County has issued notices regarding two proposed residential projects off of Waugh Chapel Road.
The county Office of Planning and Zoning said it has received sketch plans for the Summerfield Village development off Waugh Chapel Road, which would include 224 residential lots on 45 acres.
There will be a public meeting on the project March 7 at 6 p.m. in the Village Commons Community Center.

The first two phases of the Summerfield Village project would be located about 2,200 feet northwest of Maryland Route 3, on the southwest side of Waugh Chapel Road.
The county also will review a plan for 14 homes proposed near the intersection of Waugh Chapel Road and Dairy Farm Road in Odenton.

The property at Waugh Chapel Road and Dairy Farm Road is currently two lots on about 3.9 acres, and owners Mark and Vick Milewski have requested turning it into 14 lots.
Public comment for the project ends March 9.
