Couple Identified in Jessup Murder-Suicide

A man and a woman died in a murder-suicide this weekend in Jessup; names of the victims were released Tuesday.

JESSUP, MD — A Jessup man killed his girlfriend and then himself in a murder-suicide this weekend, according to Anne Arundel County Police

Anne Arundel County Police say the double shooting was reported about 11:45 a.m. Saturday in the 7400 block of Montevideo Court in Jessup. Officers found the man and woman dead inside their home from apparent gunshot wounds.

Windy Sue Floyd, 49, of 7492 Montevideo Court in Jessup, was shot to death by her partner, Barry Robert Strohl Sr., 58, also of 7492 Montevideo Court, police say. The couple had a history of domestic unrest that was not reported to police, which had increased in severity in recent weeks, investigators say.
