Crash With Garbage Truck Sends Driver to Hospital
A car came out on the losing end of a crash with a garbage truck Thursday in Severn.

Severn, MD — A collision between a car and a garbage truck sent one person to a trauma center Thursday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
The accident was reported about 9:40 a.m. in the area of Donaldson Avenue and Walnut Grove Road.
Fire officials say a two-vehicle T-bone style collision happened; the car reportedly collided with the garbage truck.

The 54-year-old man driving the car was taken by paramedics to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with serious injuries. There were no other injuries requiring hospital transport.
