Customer Beaten, Robbed at My Place Bar: Police
An Elkridge man reported he was pistol-whipped and robbed outside the Fort Meade area bar early Thursday.

ODENTON, MD — A customer of an Odenton area bar reported he was jumped, pistol-whipped and robbed early Thursday outside the business.
The assault was reported just before 1:30 a.m. at My Place bar, 1676 Annapolis Road in Odenton. An Elkridge man told Anne Arundel County Police he was beaten and possibly pistol-whipped by an unknown black male.
The victim said he was walking out of the bar when he was approached by two unknown black men who attempted to start a conversation with him. During the conversation, one of the suspects pulled a black, semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at him.

Police say the victim was then struck with a hard object in the back of the head and fell to the ground. As the victim lay on the ground, the second man went through his pockets and took his credit card wallet and cash.
Both suspects fled in a yellow SUV driven by an unknown black woman.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for head injuries.
