Discount Fares To Europe From BWI Airport In WOW Air Sale

Budget airline WOW Air is offering one-way tickets out of BWI Airport to some European destinations at a very low cost.

HANOVER, MD — Discount Icelandic airline WOW Air is offering one-way tickets to select European destinations for under $50, and it's good news for wanna-be Maryland travelers. However, there’s some fine print attached to this deal that we’ll explain here.

First, the tickets are only being offered from four U.S. airports: Detroit, Newark, Boston and Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Travelers who can fly from those four airports can travel to Reykjavik, Iceland, Brussels, Belgium, Dublin, Ireland, Frankfurt, Germany or London.

The deal is valid until Friday, Jan. 18, and applies to selected dates of travel from Jan. 21 to March 11. The airline also says there’s a limit on the number of tickets. When the offer launched on Jan. 14, WOW Air said there were 1,000 seats available at the discount price. Finally, while the ticket prices being offered are for one-way fares, customers must book a round-trip ticket to claim the deal.
