Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks serves millions of residents and visitors annually through a wide variety of services and programs. Its primary focus is to provide comprehensive recreational programs for residents and safeguard valuable land through the maintenance and management of over 160 parks and natural areas. The department manages specialized recreational facilities, including two swim centers, two golf courses, three ice rinks, a baseball stadium, a softball complex, and programs tailored to diverse needs ranging from school-age childcare to adaptive recreation. It also cares for thousands of acres of land, encompassing community parks, greenways, archaeological sites, environmental and historical preserves, and large regional parks spanning several hundred acres. Jim Rosapepe (D-College Park) left phone messages Thursday with residents of Odenton and Gambrills informing them that he and the delegates from District 21 will be at the <a href="http://www.davidsnaturalmarket.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">David's Natural Market</a> in Gambrills from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday. "We want to hear from you and provide you with free information on services that may be of help to you and your family," Rosapepe said. Rosapepe is part of a delegation that includes Delegates Barbara Frush (D-Beltsville), Josaline Pena-Melnyk (D-College Park), and Ben Barnes (D-College Park.) Before the redistricting process, District 21 included sections of Prince George's County and parts of the Piney Orchard section of Odenton. Now, and parts of Gambrills.
