I have been writing on this blog for over two months now and I am hoping that this is helping us. I hope that people are reading my blogs and starting to understand what therapist abuse is. I'm hoping that you are realizing that we need to criminalize it so that therapists don't get away with this anymore. That victims have rights and they can use these rights to go after their attacker. That they can get some of their life back, after spilling all their inner most fears and stories with some one and then that person using it against them to get what they want.
I am hoping that some of our delegates are reading these posts or someone is forwarding them to them so they can read them. We need everyone's help in this and it is time for you to stand up and take action. Reading this blog isn't going to do much. Get up and help us take back a little of our state, one law at a time.
Victims can survive this but it takes a lot to help them through it. We want to be there for them. We want them to be able to put their attacker in jail where they belong.
Our ribbon represents a lot of things: black represents the trauma that victims have been through, white represents survivor of sex abuse as all of them are survivors, and Magenta represents empowerment for women. Put them all together and it represents Lynette's Law Therapy Sex Abuse.
Let's make this happen and give this ribbon time to grow.
