Driver Critically Injured After Car Plows Into Trees
A Westminster woman was flown to the hospital after a crash in Millersville, say police.

MILLERSVILLE, MD — A Westminster woman is in critical condition after her car went off Crain Highway and crashed early Sunday, police say.
Kelsey Malinda Kundin, 26, of the 3000 block of Old Washington Road in Westminster, was driving a 2004 Dodge Neon about 3 a.m. Sunday.
Anne Arundel County Police say Kundin’s car was northbound on Crain Highway (MD-3) just before the I-97 southbound ramp in Millersville when the vehicle drifted off the left side of the road. The Neon struck numerous trees before stopping in a grassy area off the roadway.

Kundin, the single occupant of the vehicle, had to be cut free from the wreckage. She was taken by helicopter to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with critical injuries.
The cause of the crash is Kundin’s failure to remain in a single lane, police say. It is unknown if alcohol or speed was a factor. Any charges are pending review by the state’s attorney.
