Driver Error Caused Fatal Odenton Motorcycle Crash: Police
Anne Arundel County Police say Marlon Dorsey Sr. died this weekend from injuries suffered in the crash.

An Odenton man died of injuries he suffered after his motorcycle struck a utility pole Friday night, police say.
Anne Arundel County Police say Marlon B. Dorsey Sr., 57, of Dopeco Court in Odenton drove a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle Friday night when he turned left from Dopeco Court onto Old Waugh Chapel Road. Dorsey’s motorcycle side-swiped a utility pole, and then crashed in the roadway.
Dorsey was alert and conscious after the crash and was taken by ambulance to University of Maryland Shock Trauma with what appeared to be serious but non-life threatening injuries, police say. On Saturday afternoon, Dorsey unexpectedly died from his injuries.

Police believe driver error caused the crash. Neither speed nor alcohol appears to be contributing factors and the operator was wearing a DOT approved helmet and eye protection.
