Drug Charges Filed After Hanover, Jessup Raids
A Hanover man and a Jessup woman face drug charges after Anne Arundel County Police searched their homes.

JESSUP, MD — A Hanover man and a Jessup woman face drug possession charges after Anne Arundel County Police searched their homes and found narcotics worth nearly $3,000. On Oct. 4, police searched properties in the 2400 block of Merritt Drive in Jessup and the 7400 block of Race Road in Hanover.
During the search officers seized from the Merritt Drive house:
- 23.54 grams of crack with an approximate street value of $2,350
- 2.38 grams of cocaine with an estimated value $238
- 5.45 grams of marijuana valued at $108
- 10 Suboxone strips worth about $100
- Two digital scales
- $371 in cash
Three digital scales were recovered from the Race Road property.

Orion Gerard Jones Jr., 35, of the 7400 block of Race Road in Hanover was charged with:
- CDS: Possession with intent to distribute narcotics
- CDS: Possession-not marijuana
- CDS: Possession-not marijuana
- CDS: Possession of drug paraphernalia
Robin Diedra Cooper, 44, of the 2400 block of Merritt Drive in Jessup was given a criminal summons for:
