Archbishop Spalding High School girls lacrosse will hold the first annual Adaptive Lacrosse Day.
The event will take place all day on the turf fields at Archbishop Spalding. Adaptive Lacrosse is a program for boys and girls ages six and up, with disabilities. The goal of the program is to "give athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities a true lacrosse experience."
On April 30, local area youth league games will be held during the day. The concession stand will also be open. At 4 p.m., the JV girls lacrosse team will play, followed by a game between the Adaptive Program of Davidsonville and the Adaptive Program from Howard County. Then, at 7 p.m., the varsity girls lacrosse team will play in the Senior Game.
