Arundel Middle School Back To School Jam

Arundel Middle School will host its Back To School Jam on Friday, Sept. 23 at around 1 p.m. According to an e-mail from the school, the event serves as an opportunity to motivate the students about the importance of excelling in school. Lavar Fisher of the New Orleans Saints will conduct a presentation with the students, focusing on goal setting, making good decisions about school and his signature program theme, "Freeze and Think Before You Act."  Before Fisher's presentation, students and staff will be involved in basketball hoop games. GORC Cheerleaders will perform as well as staff cheerleaders.
