Fort Meade Officers’ Spouses’ Club Merry Mart 2011

Have a merry time doing your holiday shopping.

The Fort Meade Officers' Spouses' Club's is hosting its Merry Mart 2011. The annual craft fair will take place on Saturday, Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 13 from noon to 4 p.m. at Meade Middle School at 1103 26th Street in Fort Meade.

More than 100 vendors and crafters will be on hand for holiday gift-giving needs, and Reindeer Lane will be open for kids to shop for family members. Vixen’s Sweet Shoppe will have treats to tempt your taste buds. There will be opportunity drawings, and you won't have to be present to win.

Admission is $3 per adult for a weekend pass, and kids are free. The first 250 adults through the door on Saturday will receive a free limited edition Merry Mart Shopping Bag.

The goal of this event is to raise $5,000 in scholarship money to give back to the greater Fort Meade Community. There are several ways you can help the group reach its goal: attend the fair, purchase a treat at Vixen’s Sweet Shoppe, allow your children to shop for family members at Reindeer Lane, participate in an opportunity drawing or make a donation.
