Downtown Annapolis is ringing in the new year at the City Dock.
The annual New Year's Eve festivities kick off at 3 p.m. with activities for kids. The Chesapeake Children's Museum is hosting "New Year's Eve Around the World." Kids can experience examples of New Year's traditions from different countries.
From 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. enjoy family-friendly activities at the city dock. Then, an early bird fireworks display will be held at 5:30 p.m.

The 8 Ohms Band will entertain the crowd at the dock from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. and the band, Higher Hands, will perform from 10 p.m.-midnight.
The evening ends at the city dock with the annual fireworks spectacular at midnight.
