Odenton Day
The annual Odenton Day celebration will be held October 1 at the Odenton Volunteer Fire Department, 1425 Annapolis Road in Odenton. Doors are open at 9:00am -2:00pm. Come out for free food, fun activities for children, and displays by local businesses and organizations. A shuttle bus is provided to the Odenton Heritage Center for a tour of Odenton’s historic sites. Come out to explore your community.

Activities at the Odenton Heritage Center, 1367 Odenton Road in Odenton include a special prize for every tenth visitor. The OHS Museum will be open displaying history and artifacts from the Odenton area. A special emphases will be placed on the Armed Forces in Odenton. A new display featuring Lt. Jonas Panik, a Piney Orchard resident who was killed in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon, September 11, 2001 will be presented. There will also be a display about the history of Fort George G. Meade
The main level of the OHS center will be featuring Jean’s "New to You" store. A large assortment of new and nearly new items will be raffled off through drawings. A book about Odenton history and other OHS merchandise items will be offered for sale.
