The Odenton Heritage Society Museum is open the first
Sunday of every month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn about
the town of Odenton – its railroads, homes, churches, schools, stores and recreational activities – during the past 150 years. Displays about the Civil War, military history, and local businesses such as Nevamar are available. Stroll through Odenton’s history in photographs, objects and slide presentations. Explore the 1912 Old Masonic Hall. Admission is free.
The next Open House on Sunday, September 2 will feature a new display, “Back to School.” Photographs, yearbooks, textbooks, sweater letters, and other memorabilia from Arundel High School, Odenton Elementary School, Sappington School, and Odenton Junior High School will be on view.
The Museum is in the OHS Historical Center, 1367 Odenton Road, one block west of the intersection of Odenton Road and Piney Orchard Parkway. Parking is available. For more information, please visit www.odentonheritage.org or e-mail odentonheritage@verizon.net
