The Archbishop Spalding High School football team plays against McDonogh School on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at Spalding's stadium. The game will raise money for the American Cancer Society to help fight pancreatic cancer.
Fans will receive a lavender ribbon, and anyone who makes a donation of $5 or more will receive a lavender wristband with the slogan "Make Every Day Count!"
This year’s fundraiser was chosen to honor Spalding’s varsity football coach, Mike Whittles, who is fighting stage four pancreatic cancer.
