Potential volunteers can learn about the Watershed Stewards Academy at this information session.
The Watershed Stewards Academy trains and supports community leaders to serve as Master Watershed Stewards in the protection, restoration and conservation of watersheds, working to reduce the negative impacts of storm water runoff in Anne Arundel County. The initiative of Arlington Echo Outdoor Education Center and the Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works is designed to empower communities to restore local waterways.
The next training class will start this fall. Sept. 12 as the deadline for applications.
