Kids, grab your fishing rods and head to the Youth Fishing Rodeo at Burba Lake.
The competition is open to all eligible youth, ages 3 to 16. Participants will be divided into three age divisions, and prizes will be awarded in each group.
Register the day of the event from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Burba Lake Cottage. The competition takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Awards will be presented at 1:30 p.m.

There is no registration fee and no pre-registration.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources will stock the lake prior to the event. All state regulations will be in effect.

The lake will be closed to all other fishermen from sunset on Sept. 30.
