It's going to be a busy week in Odenton. Here's a rundown of five things to keep an eye on.
Students in Anne Arundel County Public Schools head back to class this week. Classes start either Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on the school and grade of the student. Check the AACPS website for school hours, bus schedules and other important information.

Where: Arundel High School Gym
Details: This is a chance to meet all of the fall sports coaches. The Arundel High athletic boosters will also be holding their fall meeting and electing new officers.

Arundel High Sports Scrimmages
When: All week
Where: Various Locations
Details: Check highschoolsports.net for the latest schedule on every Arundel High team. Many teams, including field hockey, soccer and football will be getting some serious reps in before the regular season.
When: Saturday, 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Where: Meade High School
Details: Meade High will host the first “MeadeFest,” a community-building event featuring free food, games and information on community resources. Students and other community members will also be working on beautifcation projects at the school.
