Here are five events that Odenton and Gambrills residents may want to keep an eye on.

Free Slurpee Monday – In honor of 7-11’s birthday, the convenience store is offering free Slurpees to all customers of they check in on Facebook. 

When: All day Monday.
Where: 7-11. Closest locations at 1350 Odenton Road, 898 Waugh Chapel Road and 1033 Route 3 North.

Paul Adkins Memorial Fund Benefit - Kaufmann’s Tavern in Gambrills will host singer Suzy Estrada in a show to honor Paul Adkins, a Crofton resident who passed away last month after a battle with cancer. All proceeds from the event will go to a fund in his memory.

Anne Arundel County Board of Education Meeting -  The school board will meet to vote on a new gang policy toward gangs and the structure of the Citizens Advisory Committee. The board will also elect new officers and welcome new board members Board members Amalie Brandenburg of Severna Park and Jillian Buck of Edgewater.

Gambrills Athletic Club Titans Baseball – The 15-and-under team from Gambrills will play in a big tournament in Myrtle Beach starting Monday. It’s been a great comeback season for the kids. Follow all their results online.
